What is the Heard community?

We are a community of compassionate people who value being in connection with one another. People who want to see and be seen in whatever is present.
We hold daily sessions where members take turns sharing and listening with a specific focus on practicing conscious communication skills.
What Heard isn't:
Heard is not a place for advice, fixing or diagnosing others.
Heard is not therapy or a replacement for therapy.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many people attend each session?

The number can vary from session to session. While any number of members can attend a session, we will always break into smaller groups of 2-4 people so that we can keep the sessions to 30 minutes while still giving everyone a chance to both share and reflect.

What are the different plan options?

We offer 2 different memberships depending on how many sessions you think you'd like to attend. Our Unlimited Membership, is perfect if you intend on joining daily (or more than once a day!). You can attend any/all available sessions with this membership. Our Regular Membership, is perfect if you'd like to attend a session every few days. It includes up to 9 sessions per month.

Do my unused sessions carry over?

Your session-count resets every month. So unused sessions cannot be carried over.

Can I transfer unused sessions to friends or other members?

At this time, sessions are not transferable.

What if I'm late for a session?

We give 3 minutes of leeway for every call. For example, a 10:00am call would officially begin at 10:03am. After this time, it is not possible to join the session. Please note that if you miss a session, it will be counted toward one of your registered sessions (unless you cancel with 1+ hour notice).

What are sessions like?

Each person will have time to share uninterupted. Immediately after, the others on the call will share their reflections utilizing the skills covered in the provided Welcome Videos. Every session has a host. The host is responsible for keeping time (and communicating it to others). If there are more than 4 people on the call, the host will also split the group up so that each group has 2-4 people in it.

What do people talk about during their share?

We encourage members to share about their present moment experience. Focusing on feelings that are present.

What if I'm feeling challenging feelings that are scary to share?

You are encouraged and welcomed to share what's true for you whether that's sadness, anger, joy, excitement, grief, etc. You are not required to share anything. Trust your own judgement as to what feels appropriate to share in service of your own boundaries. As long as you are using ownership language (we cover this in the Welcome Videos), we welcome you to express all of your feelings, desires, and noticings.

Can I cancel my account?

You can cancel your membership anytime. If you do decide to cancel, be sure to do so before your renewal date to avoid paying for time you don't intend on participating. We don't offer retroactive refunds.
